This shot is eye catching as it is almost a submissive pose which is unusual for a U.K Hip Hop & Grime magazine. Most U.K Hip Hop & Grime magazines have the artist on the front looking strong and powerful, so this submissive pose will catch the audiences attention as it does not fit the normal trend of these magazines. This will most definitely be used for the front page if it is used, as i don't think it would fit in well with the contents page.
This pose is very eye catching as it shows a "hoody" praying. However, i have to make sure that it doesn't come across to the audience like the artist is in some kind of cult. I want this pose to look peaceful as it will be eye catching for U.K Hip Hop & Grime to appear as peaceful! I have put into consideration i might not be able to put this on the front cover as it might scare U.K Hip Hop & Grime fans of as they might not have the same beliefs as the artist on the front cover.
This pose makes the artist look like a dominant and powerful figure. This is what all the magazines i have used for influence appear to be represented also. Also with the artist looking to the side it gives the impression that the artist is to good to be in the photoshoot which makes people interested that a "new talent" is up and coming.
I love this pose as it can be stretched over two pages on my double page spread. I took this idea of an image spreading over two pages of a lily allen double page spread i saw and have loved the idea ever since.
This pose was infulenced from an MMA fighter called Paul "Semtex" Dayley. He did this pose after a victory in his career i have loved it ever since. im thinking of maybe having this type of pose on my front cover.
